Driving It Home does not seek to be a corporate history of General Motors and the Lordstown complex. It does not go into detail about every make, model, and style of cars and vans produced there. There are innumerable publications—monographs, serials, and online social media forums—that provide such data, including illustrations that are easily obtainable and too numerous to list. This work does address issues and events that occurred in Detroit and the US automobile industry, but its focus is primarily on what happened at Lordstown and the plant’s relationship with the surrounding Mahoning Valley communities.

Driving it Home is published by Green Grotto Press of New Middletown, Ohio and printed by the Print Factory of North LIma, Ohio.
The book sells for $30.00 (B&W), $40.00 (color) plus sales tax, shipping and handling.
